Position: Full Time Director of Medical Imaging   

Department: Medical Imaging

Shift: Days

Purpose:

The Director of Medical Imaging is responsible for the daily operations of all imaging services within the hospital. The Director is also responsible for the daily operations of Cardiopulmonary Services (CPS), including Respiratory Therapy, EKG and EEG.

Those duties include, but are not limited to, supervision and evaluation of all technical, clerical and ancillary staff utilized in the functional areas identified above.  The Director ensures that programs comply with regulatory agency standards, establishes and monitors effective policies and procedures to ensure the professional and ethical care of patients served by these areas, budgetary responsibility and accountability, quality improvement and assessment, planning and implementation of future services and equipment needs.

Qualifications:
 

• Graduate of an approved Program of Radiologic Technology
• Baccalaureate Degree required
• Five to seven years of experience in Radiology Management, preferably in a hospital setting
• Highly skilled in interpersonal relations with diverse staff and other professional departments
• Strong leadership abilities in developing and maintaining a wide variety of internal and external service operations, working with physicians, other department heads, vendors and Hospital administration.
